Dr Eric Troyer

Born in 1963 in Tokyo, Japan, into a military family, Eric Troyer began his elementary education in England. His family moved to rural South Carolina when Eric was seven, and remain there today. Growing up in church, Eric came to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior at age twelve. After completing high school, Eric attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC and graduated with honors. It was at Wofford that Eric experienced his only serious crisis of faith while taking a religion class. Ultimately, this challenging of his beliefs strengthened them. Eric then attended the University Of South Carolina School Of Medicine and finished second in his class. He met and married his wife, Vickie, while in Columbia. After graduation, it was back to Spartanburg for a three-year residency in Family Medicine. Eric attended medical school on a full US Air Force scholarship. After completing his residency, Captain/Major Eric spent the next four years at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. Following his honorable discharge in 1995, Eric and family, which now included daughter, Lindley, and son, Chas, moved to China Grove, NC.

Problem solving has always been one of Eric’s strengths. He has committed to utilize this gift in an effort to improve the lives of those living in the great State of North Carolina, and more specifically, for those living in the NC House or Representatives 76th District. His priorities will be focused on getting jobs into the area, improving the educational system, and healing the infirmed health care system. If you wish to help him accomplish these goals with the gift of your time or financial recourses, please call the Committee to Elect Eric Troyer at 704-855-2101 or send your contributions to Troyer Medical at 107 South Central Ave. Landis, NC 28088.
